Robyn Earley

Robyn Earley has been racing sailboats for over 20 years. As with many sailors, she was strongly influenced by spending time on the water with her father who was an avid sailor. Growing up in Florida, Robyn spent her high school years windsurfing year-round. She did not start racing on boats until she moved back to the northeast after college. Unlike many sailors, Robyn began racing on bigger boats. After sailing for years in Boston, Robyn had the opportunity to move to Newport and crew on a 12-Metre for the summer. This launched a year of off-shore and Caribbean crewing on a variety of boats including a 120 ft schooner, a 76-foot Spirit of Tradition and a 42-foot catamaran. In more recent years, Robyn has completed a Newport to Bermuda race and focused her time on racing in Newport as part of the Spirit Racing program, a J92 out of Coasters Marina. Robyn currently serves as the Commodore of the Twenty Hundred Club.
